As a Gold Sponsor, the DSA Group, showed its commitment and support for Babson College’s prestigious annual gathering, Babson Connect: Worldwide 2019. The event, bringing together some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, entered its fifth year coincidentally with Babson College’s Centennial celebration. DSA’s Chief Communications Officer, Riz Khan, was the moderator and MC on 20th September, for a remarkable day of candid discussions. Topics included the Future of Entrepreneurship, featuring diverse and accomplished entrepreneur panelists, as well as Leadership in Business and Sports with Nigel Travis, Chair of Dunkin’ Group brands and Chair of Leyton Orient Football Club, in the UK.
Prior to that, speakers included Babson alumnus and Venezuelan billionaire businessman, Gustavo Cisneros, and his daughter, Adriana… plus the iconic fashion designer, Diane von Fürstenberg – revealing the ups and downs she faced as a female entrepreneur at a challenging time for women in business.

DSA Group CEO, Manoj Narender Madnani, also an alumnus of the globally renowned school for entrepreneurs, emphasised the positive impact such gatherings have on encouraging young entrepreneurs to follow a path to success that redefines business in the modern world.
“Capitalism as a concept has developed a very negative image over recent years because people have forgotten its true power for lifting all of society,” said Mr. Madnani while attending the event. “Fortunately, there is an awakening and return to conscious and collaborative capitalism that is pushing entrepreneurs to do genuinely good business to lift all stakeholders.”

DSA’s Chief Communications Officer, Riz Khan, added, “It was my honour to be asked to represent DSA as the Moderator and MC at Babson Connect: Worldwide 2019. The company of such accomplished men and women is remarkably inspiring – and their stories are proof of what can be achieved with the right attitude and motivation.”
